The Finest Sunday Lunch in Plymouth
Traditional, delicious and roasted perfectly each Sunday especially for you...
Uniquely English, there is no meal more satisfying than a Sunday Roast. Originating in England as a meal to be consumed by Churchgoers post-service, this dish is truly a highlight of the week and one that we thoroughly enjoy serving at Langdon Court. Our two AA rosette Sunday Lunch places us head and shoulders above all other restaurants in the area; our well-deserved rosettes signify our standing as one of the top 10% restaurants in the UK. You will struggle to find a Sunday Lunch in Plymouth quite like it. Whether you choose to dine with friends, your family or with each other, you can indulge in a Sunday Lunch that is steeped in tradition; warm yourself by our log fire in winter with a glass of red wine, or in summer you can treat yourself before taking a stroll down to the beach after lunch.
Our menus always feature a seasonal, fresh homemade soup, vibrant salad and assortment of starters. If all that hasn’t whet your appetite, then our homemade gravy, crispy roast potatoes, tender seasonal meat (sourced within 20 miles of the hotel, naturally) and our giant homemade Yorkshire pudding is sure to sway your choice… it simply doesn’t get much better than this. Desserts are to die for; you can choose from classic crème brûlée, sticky toffee pudding, rhubarb crumble and a selection of cheese and crackers.
